Some striking designs are on show for you this morning with our latest feature involving Multimedia designer Pritesh Chauhan. Currently residing in Leicester, Pritesh is now gaining experience as a freelance designer following his graduation from De Monfort University.
“I came across design by accident from secondary school, and fell in love with the endless possibilities and combinations that one could portray. I took A levels in Graphic Design and Art, and then Multimedia Design at De Monfort University , which really made me realise the potential of taking design beyond the screen and paper.”
“I get inspired by every aspect of life, from textured sounds of the city as well as I am an avid reader of philosophy, which I think brings a deeper meaning to a lot of the design process. Also music and live music – which defiantly influences my work and moods it creates.”
“After university I worked for an interactive kiosk company, gained a lot of valuable skills, but found it very restrictive creatively, so slowly decided to branch into freelance design and have not looked back since.
In the future I hope to start working with some very exciting briefs and clients, and want to explore a mixture of all media to really push the senses of visual and sound design.”
“I’m currently working as a freelance designer, and always working on new personal projects to keep the creative juices flowing, so if you want to keep updated on the latest design please check out http://ruminsessions.tumblr.com/.”
